Fairly dodgy afternoon. Turned up at high tide to be faced by a very unfriendly shorebreak and wind of dubious strength. Lots of people hanging around vans, but no action. Rigged my 6.5m and most people thought I would be glugging. Went out and was nearly blown off the water. Added to that, my kit just felt big having spent the last few sessions on small kit. The sea was incredibly lumpy and the chop was coming from all directions - I noticed that just about everyone was sailing like a donkey, especially me. Changed down to 5.7 and by then the wind had picked up, so probably would have been ok on a 5m. The sea state was so dodgy though - never really come across it so wierd. The session was rounded off by some fool dumping me in by gybing on me. That just doesn't happen at Cooden, but it was an accident so ho hum.
